Link a platform account
Attach a platform profile to your Vintex account — what it unlocks, and why a profile belongs to one account only.
Why link an account?
Linking says "this platform account is mine". It attaches your backups and settings to the right profile when you run several — and it is the condition for using the account from the dashboard at all. An unlinked profile is shown, but nothing can be done with it.
How to do it
- 01
Open the panel
It shows a chain of three lines — vintex.app account, platform account, relay — and a single button: Link this account.
- 02
Confirm
The badge switches to Linked.
What linking unlocks
Everything. Until a platform profile is linked, the dashboard shows it on the Home page with an invitation to link it, and offers nothing else: it does not appear in the profile picker, and no action can reach it. Relisting, publishing drafts, editing, rating, AI replies, boost, cloud backups, label cropping — all of it comes with the link.
Several platform accounts
Repeat the operation on a tab of each account. One Vintex account can carry several profiles, and each keeps its own automation settings — stored on the Vintex side, so they follow you from one computer to another.
One profile, one Vintex account
Linking is not taken over automatically
If the profile is already linked to another Vintex account, the panel says so and refuses. There is no self-service unlink button: that is what stops someone else from claiming your profile. Write to support on Discord to free a profile you do own.
If it doesn't work
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Account already linked" | The profile belongs to another Vintex account | Sign in with that account, or contact support |
| "Link status unavailable" | The Vintex service didn't answer | Click Retry |
| The dashboard shows "Link from the extension" | Profile detected but not linked | Link from the panel, on a tab of that account |
