What to do when Vinted asks for an anti-robot check or an SMS code in the middle of a task.
Why is Vinted asking me this?
Vinted watches how fast an account issues requests. A run of bulk actions can trigger an anti-robot check — it isn't a sanction, and it isn't a Vintex bug. What matters is knowing that the task is waiting for you rather than having failed.
Captcha: the task waits, it doesn't fail
Nothing is lost
The request is paused in your Vinted tab. Solve the captcha there and the task resumes on its own, exactly where it was.

Open the Vinted tab
The "Verification required on Vinted" message carries an Open the Vinted tab button: it takes you to the right tab, the one actually holding the captcha.

Solve the captcha
It shows on top of the Vinted page.

Do nothing else
The task restarts by itself. There is no "I solved it" button.
The message shows a countdown. Past that delay the task stops and you run it again. Give up does the same immediately, with no penalty.
Stacking up expired captchas slows Vintex down
After several unsolved checks, Vintex stops waiting for about ten minutes and fails fast instead. That is deliberate: hammering Vinted's protection is the best way to get blocked harder.
The dashboard was closed during an automation
The captcha did show in the Vinted tab, but nobody was there to see it: the cycle expires. Nothing is broken — the next cycle will start again.
The captcha is waiting on another device
A captcha can only be solved on the machine that received it. The message says so and names the device; you have to physically go there.
SMS verification: it has to go through Vinted
Much rarer, and on publishing an item. It cannot be done from Vintex: the task stops and explains what to do.

Turn on two-step verification
On Vinted, if it isn't already: Settings → Security → Two-step verification.

Create a draft by hand on Vinted
From the same computer. Vinted will ask for the SMS code.

Come back and run again
Once the code is validated, run the task again: it will go through.
If it doesn't work
