Back up to the cloud
Copy a listing and its photos to your Vintex space, so it can be relisted even after the sale.
Why back up?
Two fears, one answer. "I deleted the wrong listing": a backup lets you recreate it, photos included. "My item sold, I'm restocking it and want it back on sale": Vinted deletes the photos of a sold item, so without a prior backup there is nothing left to relist.
A backup is a copy of the listing and its photos on your Vintex space.
How to do it
Two paths. From the Items table, pick Back up to the cloud above the table then tick. Or turn on the option of the same name in the relist settings: each item is then backed up once it is back online.
Backups are managed afterwards from the Cloud backups tab: restore, edit photos, delete.
What it changes
After the sale it is too late
Vinted deletes the photos of a sold item. A backup created after the sale would have no images left to copy. Back up while the listing is online.
What happens while it runs
A short pause between each item. Backing up reads the photos from Vinted then uploads them to your Vintex space: on a large batch, the photo download dominates, not the pause.
Photos are stored without lossy re-encoding — a listing restored then relisted does not degrade from one pass to the next.
If it doesn't work
